How it Works

21-25 Count Shrimp

Captain Skip targets larger shrimp. The majority of his catch is a 21-25 count (21-25 shrimp per pound), shell-on, headed shrimp. Keeping the shell on protects the shrimp during freezing and thawing, allowing for maximum storage life and quality. You may notice many other seafood shipping companies ship their shrimp peeled and deveined, which sacrifices quality and flavor. Shrimp shells contain many flavor compounds, allowing the shrimp to arrive to you with exceptional freshness and taste.

Hand Sorted

Our expert crew sorts our shrimp by hand and heads them on deck. Once sorted, the shrimp are thoroughly washed with fresh water and weighed. Then, they are placed in the chill tank and packaged in the freezer room.

Headed on deck and immediately placed in the chill tank, then packaged in the freezer room for the freshest shrimp possible
