Where do the shrimp from Coastline Shrimp come from?

Captain Skip maintains licenses in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The Jesus Lives fishes wherever Captain Skip can find the largest size and best quality shrimp. Our shrimp will always come from our vessel and will never be outsourced.

Do your shrimp have any preservatives?

Absolutely not. Our shrimp are left in their shells to preserve quality and flavor, so no preservatives are needed.

What size shrimp are available?

Captain Skip targets a large shrimp. Once they are headed, there will be 21-25 shrimp per pound. The head of a shrimp makes up about 40% of the weight of the shrimp, the tail shell and legs about 15%, and the meat of the shrimp 45%.

Are your Shrimp Fresh or Frozen?

Our Shrimp are fresh frozen as soon as we catch them. Captain Skip Flash freezes his shrimp with state-of-the-art freezer technology. This process preserves our shrimp's flavor and freshness while maintaining texture and nutritional value. Essentially, this process locks in the quality of our shrimp from the moment we catch it until you cook it.
